Sacred Heart School - Camden
Sacred Heart School - Camden2 weeks ago
Hello friends, families, and supporters of Sacred Heart School.

We wanted to make you all aware that a 4th Stimulus Bill was released:

If passed it will provide:

- One-time, emergency appropriations to scholarship granting organizations to prevent widespread closures of private schools.

- Scholarship-granting organizations would be authorized to use the one-time funding to provide families with direct educational assistance, including for private school tuition and home-schooling expenses

- Creates educational opportunity for more families to choose the best educational option for their child

- Provides a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit for contributions to scholarship-granting organizations, which could generate up to $5 billion in new funds for education

There is $105B included in educational aid; $70b K-12; $30B Higher Ed and $5 B Governor's Discretion. In the $70B for K-12 we have fought very hard to get a 10% set aside for our Catholic and other private school students, teachers and families.

We need to let Congress know we need this 10% aid - which accurately and appropriately represents the 10% of students enrolled in private schools across the Country.

Please share this link below to your networks and ask they voice their belief that all students, families, teachers and schools matter!
